Newsweek Scholarship for Engineering at KCL in 2023

International students wishing to study engineering at King's College London should submit their applications for the Newsweek Scholarship in Engineering at King's College London very soon.

International students enrolled in a taught Engineering Masters program will be eligible to apply for the scholarship. The prestigious award will be presented to an outstanding international student who has demonstrated financial hardship in supporting their studies at King's University.


Details about the KCL Newsweek Scholarship in Engineering 2023 are provided below

  • Newsweek's CEO, Dr. Dev Pragad, is the scholarship sponsor(s) for this year's program

  • King's College London, UK is the host institution (or institutions).

  • In order to cover the cost of tuition and living expenses, the scholarship is worth £49,310

  • Awards received: There have been several awards given to me

  • Study Level: Masters

  • Application Deadline: August 22.

  • There is great pleasure in announcing that the Newsweek Engineering Scholarship has been awarded by Dr. Dev Pragad, Newsweek's CEO.

    Dr. Pragad is a graduate of KCL's School of Engineering, Computer Systems and Electronics with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mobile and Internet. In science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), Dr. Pragad wants to provide other students with the opportunity and experience he received at KCL. 


    Eligibility criteria

    The following requirements must be met for applicants to qualify for the KCL Newsweek Scholarship in Engineering:

    • From September, applicants must intend to enroll in a full-time taught Masters course in Engineering at King’s

    • Applicants must be classed as international for tuition fees

    • Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need

    • Applicants must have academic merit as demonstrated by your undergraduate degree transcript of grades and final degree award outcome

    • Applicants must be willing to provide an end of year report or any other information deemed necessary by the donor

    • Applicants must provide a written personal statement in support of their application.
